Ingredients:
- Boiled rice with salt and 2 tbsp of vinegar
- Onion 1 large, chopped
- Tomatoes 2 large, chopped
- Ginger, garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Yoghurt 2 or 3 tbsp
- 2 or 3 tbsp biryani masala
- Oil 1/3 cup
- If u don’t have biryani masala then add these spices
- Salt according to rice
- Red chili powder
- Turmeric powder
- All spice powder
- Bay leaf
- Some cloves and whole black pepper
- Few drops of kewra essence.
- Fry onion in oil till slightly golden then add tomatoes and ginger, garlic paste…. Fry for few minutes then biryani masala (if u don’t have it then use other spices)
- Cook for a minute then add yoghurt, mix well and keep on low heat till masala done and oil comes on top…
- Now resemble the rice and masala for dum…
- On the bottom of cooking pot add half of masala, then 1 layer of rice.
- Again layer the remaining masala and top layer with rice…
- Cover with lid and put on very low heat for 5 minutes… that’s it….
